What is Mindfulness Meditation?
Mindfulness Meditation is a method of meditation where we observe the breath, as well as our thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations as they arise and pass, moment-to-moment. Regular practice of Mindfulness Meditation will lead to self-healing, inner peace and happiness.
How will it help me?
Mindfulness Meditation will help you reduce stress and manage anger. It has been found effective for reducing stress and coping with every-day problems. For example, if someone cuts in front of us on the road, how do we deal with anger? Or how do you reduce stress when you experience work pressure, have health problems, or are concerned about your loved ones?
Mindfulness Meditation will also help you if you want to experience more inner peace and happiness.
Loving-kindness Meditation will also be taught. This meditation helps you decrease anger, develop kindness, and improve your relationships with your loved ones, friends and work colleagues.
The unique thing about Choong’s classes is his healing presence, and since the class size is restricted to a maximum of 9 people, each student can receive personal guidance for advancing in their practise.

TESTIMONIALS
Slowly, the meditation opened a whole other world for me. There is a big difference in my life now. I’m able to identify stressful situations and take steps to protect myself from them immediately. I’m also able to relieve myself of stress and help myself relax. Perhaps the biggest change of all is that I’ve identified my life purpose and have taken steps to live the life I’ve wanted and mean to live.

I had been meditating alone for quite a while and got to a stage where I missed the support of a teacher and group when I was lucky enough to find Trevor’s meditation class.
Trevor managed to communicate profound insights in his talks with a simplicity and clarity that meant they always resonated with me. By handling all of my problems, questions and ‘lapses’ patiently and kindly and by creating a calm and relaxed atmosphere in class, he not only helped me to meditate happily and easily, but also to stay on my path between classes too.

Although I have experienced other various methods meditation, Chi Choong’s method is the easiest to learn, and I love that it is non-religious. What I love the best is if I lose touch for a while, all I need to do is to remember the very first lesson he taught and I can kick-start instantly again. Simple but powerful.
Besides learning about meditation in Chi Choong’s classes, he taught us how to love ourselves and others. What he taught us could really make us see things in a different perspective, which is so lacking in humans today: to put ourselves in other people’s shoes: easier said than done. Learning to forgive, taking a step back and looking at it from a 3rd party point of view, sending love to others, being calm and clear: all this made me a better and happier person today.
Thank you so much, Chi Choong, for teaching, I will definitely recommend your class.

Hi. I’m Delia. In 2013 I was lucky to be re-introduced to Chi Choong’s classes. I come out of each session always feeling grateful, joyful, light-footed and confident. I believe that my sessions with Chi Choong greatly assisted in giving myself the gift of Love – to love oneself is easier said than done (at least for me) and Chi Choong’s meditation class helped me in that. And in turn, I love myself better and gain a better empathy towards others, and more awareness of others.
Possessing the understanding and skill to be mindful has also assisted me in times of great stress and agitation. By simply closing my eyes and practising what Chi Choong has taught, I can gain peace and relief during moments of getting seized by the ‘feeling’ of woundedness, fear and anger. I thank Chi Choong for having me in his class, and I wish him and everyone all the best.

I have benefited from the classes. I find myself calmer and less prone to outbursts of anger. I have learnt to accept the situation I am facing: to accept and face reality that matters are beyond my control. Only then am I free to be happy.

Chi Choong has taught the need to take a step back with a deep breath and reflect. This is especially useful in calming the mind and trains it to re-evaluate a situation or problem. Subsequently rationality seeps in and one can step forward with better confidence. Naturally, this comes with proper training and guidance, both of which were given by him.
In order to achieve the calmness of the mind, Chi Choong taught the concept of acceptance and acknowledgement. I find that I am now able to form and execute my next course of action with a calm rationality. I would like to add that from taking a step back, this allows the dust to settle and I am able to look ahead with a clear perspective.
I have definitely benefitted from Chi Choong’s classes.
