Meditation has been proven to reduce stress, calm the mind, aid our health and wellbeing, help in creating the space for creative thinking and boost us in all aspects of our life.
When we reach a stage of stillness: the process of silencing the automatic thoughts of the mind we are able to connect with our heart and experience a sense of peace and calmness that allows all to be possible.
In this 4-part session, we will explore stillness and meditate our way into our subconscious space of awareness.
Class 1: Understand stillness and the tools to do open eye meditation in preparation to moving into stillness meditation.
Class 2: Practice alignment for daily balance and experience body awareness
Class 3: Practice vibration-chants to move deeper into our subconscious
Class 4: Practice moving into silence and gaining inner awareness – this helps us in monitoring and processing our thoughts to bring in more focus, direction and peace into our lives
Sessions facilitated by Ahana LaRa, author of Shifting into Tao and creator of Journey to Spirit Workshops. This is a basic meditation class and no prior meditation experience is needed. Each session is for 60 minutes.
